Like most people, me and my best friend have a fictional band: Bored Bureaucratic Death Rabbits. BBDR houses the album and song names that we come up with when we go to the pub. We are yet to write any of the music, but I thought the band needed a good visual identity, even if it remains (currently) exiled to the liminal.

I love am obsessed with bouldering. I also like to journal and track progress in paper notebooks, so I made some bouldering log books! Naturally, things quickly escalated from hand drawn maps in store bought notebooks, to hand stitched custom printed notebooks with their own logo & branding. Iterating on something physical with real-world feed-back from climbers was an incredibly satisfying and tangible design experience.
Now a full side project, and 4 versions later, they will soon be available to purchase at bouldering centres around the country with proceeds supporting boudlering and mental health charity Climbing Out Of Depression.
I write a lot of poetry and I am interested in interactive digital narratives. This was a short piece that I am planning on expanding in the future that let me explore interaction and animation, as well as the UX of reading and engaging with a digitla text.
